AIM Global Foundation enhances the UAE-India investment discussion pre-AIM Congress 2026.

The AIM Global Foundation increased its momentum in interacting with the Indian investment community and business leaders during the visit of the Chairman of AIM Global Foundation, Mr. Dawood Al Shezawi, from August 5 to 8, 2026. The visit is a part of the global roadshow to prepare for the 15th edition of AIM Congress, which will take place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

On the occasion, Al Shezawi visited several high government functionaries and officials from leading conglomerates, private businesses, the Chamber of Commerce, and business and industry associations. Discussions aimed to deepen cooperation in investment, facilitate networking between Indian companies to promote overseas opportunities, and identify collaborations in sectors like advanced manufacturing, technologies, startup ecosystems, infrastructure (sustainability), trade, and the digital economy.

The engagements are based on the growing economic ties between the two countries. The UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), which was signed on February 18, 2022, and took effect on May 1, 2022, further provided a comprehensive platform for their bilateral trade, investment, and private sector interactions.

As bilateral trade touched the $100.06 billion mark in the 2024-25 fiscal year — a rise of 19.6% — India and the UAE have agreed to put mechanisms in place to double bilateral trade by 2032 to $200 billion, according to a recent statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

AIM Congress serves as an international stage where Indian investors, corporations, entrepreneurs, and institutions can meet and collaborate with governments, investment promotion agencies, global institutions, sovereign and institutional investors, international organization bodies, and businessmen worldwide. The India roadshow is one of AIM Global Foundation’s attempts to boost international participation and enhance investment ties with the established and emerging markets worldwide.

AIM Congress, scheduled from 07-09 September 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre under the topic “Reshaping Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Toward a Sustainable & Inclusive Future,” comprises the following three pillars in its agenda: Global Markets, Future Economies & NexGen:
