Ellington Properties Launch Work on Residential Develop in Jumeirah Lake Towers

Joining the list of upcoming residential complexes, another mega residential project with more than 750 units will dot Dubai’s skyline by 2026.

Ellington Properties, a leading design-led developer in Dubai, has joined hands with Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), a free zone and Dubai Government Authority for commodities trade, on Tuesday held a ground-breaking ceremony for “Upper House,” an upcoming multi-family residential development located in the mixed-use community of Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) in Dubai.

With a construction value of $194.67 million, Upper House is the inaugural residential project of Ellington Properties in JLT contributing to the area’s increasing allure as a vibrant hub for leisure, hospitality, and residential living.

The development will feature 754 residences, consisting of stylish studios, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments that offer sweeping views of Jumeirah Islands and the Dubai Marina skyline. The project is on track to be complete by early 2026.

Significant Milestone

“This is a significant milestone for our partnership with DMCC. Together, we will ensure this project is delivered to the highest of standards and help secure JLT’s position as Dubai’s leading mixed-used community where families and visitors thrive,” he explained.

“We are excited to be developing our first project in JLT and will continue to seek out premium locations for our developments as we expand across the emirate,” he added.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC, expressed his excitement about collaborating with Ellington Properties and bringing their first development to JLT. “Ellington Properties’ renowned signature design and commitment to high-quality amenities align perfectly with the community’s vision, enriching the lifestyles of residents,” he said.

Once completed, residents of the Upper House will enjoy an array of facilities, including a 37-meter horizon pool, an interactive fitness studio, and a health club featuring a climbing wall. The development will also boast a yoga studio, a sky spa, as well as padel tennis and basketball courts. Additionally, the project will feature a movie theatre, a residential clubhouse, a podcast room, a skate park, a pet play area, a kids’ splash pad, an outdoor barbecue area, and more.
