Emaar Misr Opens Palace Beach Resort in Egypt

Emaar Misr, the Egyptian arm of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM)-listed Emaar Properties, has inaugurated its $185 million Palace Beach Resort Marassi in Egypt’s North Coast’s Marassi development.

Egyptian Prime Minister Dr Mustafa Madbouli, and founder of Ammar Real Estate company Mohamed Alabbar, and other dignitaries witnessed the opening of the resort, which is located on an area of nearly 140,000 sq. m. with 87 rooms and suites as well as 31 luxury villas, alongside many facilities and services including a conference hall, beachside restaurant, gym, swimming pool, health spa (spa), and beauty salon to provide an integrated stay experience of a world-standard.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that his presence at the inauguration is a testimony to Egypt’s keenness to encourage investments in tourism sector, which enhances the opportunities to explore the opportunities to benefit the North Coast region to develop a tourist and economic attraction throughout the year.

The opening of the resort embodies the latest steps in building Egypt’s development, within its strategy to redefine the concept of luxury tourism, by providing accommodation experiences parallel to the major global destinations.

This step comes in the light of the accelerated recovery experienced by the tourism sector in Egypt, supported by the country’s vision to enhance its position on the global tourism map. By combining the richness of history, diversity of nature and the ongoing development of infrastructure, he said.

The North Coast Anchors project is a living example of this success, playing a key role in boosting the local and international tourism movement, the project drew in more than 4 million visitors in 2024 alongside more than 30,000 hotel reservations annually, including over 8,000 units of North Coast Anchoring Residential, embracing a vibrant community of about 21,000 residents.

Offers Luxury Hospitality Experience

Mohamed Alabbar said that the resort represents an important step for them, and reflects their commitment to providing luxury hospitality experiences enhanced by Egypt’s position as a leading tourist destination.

“We will continue our expansion plan to develop quality projects that contribute to supporting the tourism sector, and drive with the wheel of development Humanity and economics, as part of our vision to build sustainable and integrated societies,” he added.

The project features a modern design and integrated services that meet the highest global standards in the hospitality sector, making it an ideal destination for visitors seeking a luxurious stay experience on the Mediterranean coast, and through its distinctive location.

Within the Anchor Project; the hotel contributes to attracting new segments of local and international tourists, and enhanced by its coastal location The North is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Middle East.

The project covers an expansive area of 6.5 million sq. m. including 4.1 million sq. m. of open green spaces, equivalent to 63% of the total area, alongside a 6.5 km long beach and a 16 km long water walk.
