Gate Ventures and The Blockchain Center in Abu Dhabi Unveil FGV

Gate Ventures, the venture capital arm of Gate.io, and The Blockchain Centre in Abu Dhabi, brand new global hub for Web3 technologies, have announced the launch of $100 million Falcon Gate Ventures fund to invest in global blockchain innovation.

The new Web3 venture firm is focused on backing builders from the US, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The new fund seeks to foster the global growth of the Web3 ecosystem by providing support for high-potential projects worldwide and investing in education and research initiatives to build a skilled workforce.

Falcon Gate Ventures will collaborate with global regulators to develop a framework that fosters innovation whilst ensuring user protection. The initiative reinforces the UAE’s position as a central hub in the international digital economy.

Abdulla Al Dhaheri, CEO of the Blockchain Center in Abu Dhabi said that choosing Gate Ventures as their partner for this joint fund was a natural decision for them as it brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the blockchain and digital assets space.
