Saudi Green Building Forum to Discuss Sustainability Development

Described as the groundbreaking innovation event, the 13th edition of Saudi Green Building Forum will be held in King Abdullah Financial District on Riyadh on October 9 and 10.

The two-day event will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi real estate development industry has pivoted towards sustainability, in convergence with the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision and the universal sustainable development goals and accords, quickly transforming the Kingdom into a major influencer in the field of Sustainability.

With an unwavering determination to tackle the adverse effects of climate change, giga Saudi national projects are providing a blueprint for the world to observe and learn from, thus, accelerating the localisation of Saudi’s SDGs.

The Saudi Green Building Forum will bring together some of the most avid advocates and supporters of the national SDGs and thought leaders from esteemed organizations to discuss the Saudi green transformation that is shaping up to become the most ambitious in the world.

Since the beginning of its journey in 2010, the Saudi Green Building Forum has been positioning the Kingdom at the forefront of the global sustainable development industry, thus fostering dialogue amongst key stakeholders, and thought leaders and enabling prosperous partnerships.

The participants will discuss the consolidation of the local construction sector and achieving energy and water efficiency and delving into the challenges faced by the Saudi real estate development sector, the progress, and the numerous opportunities present in the market.

Key stakeholders from government authorities, private developers, contractors, builders, and tech providers will be present to showcase the achievements, dissect the challenges, celebrate the breakthroughs, and collaborate on driving the Kingdom closer towards fully localising its SDGs.
