The World Corporate Summit (WCS) begins with sports and business growth as core pillars

The World Corporate Summit (WCS) was announced, with sports and cross-industry business expansion as its two main focuses.

Key decision makers from multinational corporations, significant UAE-based businesses, and government organizations will attend the summit to share insights, explore collaborative partnerships, and discover opportunities for business growth.

Additionally, Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism supports it (DET).

Every year, in Dubai, the World Government Summit brings together top officials from around the world to acknowledge futures issues, discuss technological innovation and other topics, and engage in a global dialogue about governmental processes and policies.

The summit serves as a platform for analysis of upcoming trends, problems, and opportunities facing humanity as well as a knowledge exchange center for decision-makers, makers, and leaders.

Over 4000 people attend the summit, which features over 90 speakers from 150 participating nations.

Over 100 discussion sessions on significant economic issues and industry-specific topics will be held during the 20-day Summit, which will have sport as its overarching theme.

On average, attendees stay for 3-5 days.

The invitation-only event, which takes place at the Palace Hotel in Downtown Dubai from November 16 to December 21, falls during the World Cup in Qatar.

In order to give visiting founders unique insights into the present and future, the event will include a number of closed-door forums and meetings with leaders of the city’s business and innovation ecosystem. This will help Dubai maintain its position as a major hub for trade and commerce worldwide.

Additionally, there will be opportunities for interaction with the city’s funding and investment community as well as visits to important business and innovation districts for attendees.

Speaking about the summit’s launch, experts emphasized Dubai’s outstanding efforts to support business tourism and regional economic growth in the wake of the success of Expo2020 Dubai.

Following a presentation by Steen Jakobsen of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism on Dubai’s great efforts in supporting business tourism and economic growth in the region following the success of Expo2020 Dubai, WCS president Bernard Caiazzo introduced the World Corporate Summit and VIP World Cup Dubai Programme.

The VIP World Cup Dubai Program, according to WCS president Bernard Caiazzo, will bring together decision-makers from the top 5,000 global companies, significant investment funds, football sponsors, football clubs, and leagues to discuss urgent global and sector-specific issues and forge partnerships that will shape the future of the global economy.

According to Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), a division of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, hosting major events like Expo 2020 Dubai and the 2022 World Cup in the area not only offers a remarkable opportunity to spur investment but also helps to host business leaders to exchange ideas that can help the global economy.

He continued, “I believe the World Corporate Summit will be a great platform to elevate Dubai’s position as the premier business and luxury travel destination, as well as to create partnerships, enter into deals, and discuss plans for the future of business.”

The inaugural World Corporate Summit, which coincides with the 2022 World Cup, is a prestigious invitation-only event planned with the goal of fostering collaborative dialogue to support a new era of global economic growth in a post-pandemic world.

On the website for the World Corporate Summit, a list of speakers includes people like Abdulla bin Touq, the minister of economy, Khawaja Aftab Ahmed, the International Finance Corporation’s regional director for the Middle East, and Javier Tebas, the president of Spain’s La Liga.
