Trend Micro to launch digital transformation journeys in the UAE at e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress

Last month Trend Micro decided to strengthen the digital abilities of companies in the country by navigating them through the next stages of cryptocurrency, AR/VR, the metaverse, and beyond.

The 12th Annual e-Crime & Cybersecurity Congress was held on September 21, at St. Regis, Abu Dhabi.

As a strategic sponsor, Trend Micro will highlight modern-day cybersecurity challenges and solutions in cryptocurrency, reality/virtual reality, the metaverse, and Web3, under the theme ‘Securing Future Tech’.

Trend Micro also plans on showing its state-of-the-art innovations at the 42nd GITEX GLOBAL,  to illustrate various industry-leading security solutions to provide organizations with protecting their digital journeys from an extending attack surface.

The 42nd GITEX GLOBAL is starting from the 10th to the 14th of October at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Trend Micro Midyear Cybersecurity Report for H1 2022:

According to the Report, the MEA region saw over 400 million email threats, more than 820 thousand URL-hosted attacks, 34 million URL victims, and more than 57 million malware attacks. The Trend Micro solutions prevented and detected approximately 59 million threats in the first half of 2022. During the pandemic, companies in the region have seen a serious surge in cyber threats due to the extensive adoption of new technologies.
