Wall Street ‘Eyes’ Guyana’s Swelling Market

“It’s no secret that the world’s eyes are on Guyana, including Wall Street. We’re thrilled to facilitate this high-level delegation and explore various avenues for critical investments in Guyana.”

ACE Consulting Group (ACE), a premier strategic advisory and local consulting firm, has partnered with ACG Analytics to facilitate a visit by a distinguished group of experienced international investors from Washington DC, New York, and London to explore Guyana’s burgeoning market.

ACG Analytics, a renowned policy advisory firm based in Washington DC, is celebrated for its expertise in advising asset managers primarily located in New York City, Miami, and London.

Chris Czerwinski, Director of Macro Policy at ACG Analytics, who will be accompanying the group, emphasized the keen interest in Guyana’s market.

“In my years working with investment funds in macro, special situations, and event-driven strategies, I have rarely seen such widespread interest in a single market and a government so committed to the responsible and conscientious development of its transformative energy discovery. We are excited to witness firsthand all the positive developments happening in Guyana,” Czerwinski said.

The delegation traveling to Guyana represents hedge funds with collective assets under management of approximately $200 billion and aims to engage with policymakers and business leaders on the rapidly changing investment landscape.

Dr Rosh Khan, President of ACE Consulting Group, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, and said that the trip marks a significant milestone in Guyana’s journey towards sustainable economic development.

“It’s no secret that the world’s eyes are on Guyana, including Wall Street. We’re thrilled to facilitate this high-level delegation and explore various avenues for critical investments in Guyana,” Dr Khan said.

Ripe for Investment

The partnership between ACE Consulting Group and ACG Analytics underscores that Guyana’s market is ripe for some of the world’s most influential investors. There is a consensus among the delegation that now is the opportune time to explore Guyana’s landscape.

Wazim Mowla, Vice President of ACE Consulting Group, who oversees the Group’s Washington DC operations, said that the trip demonstrates that experienced investors have transitioned from mere ‘interest’ to ‘action’ when evaluating the country’s market.

The entry of investors from Wall Street into Guyana’s market promises several significant benefits.

Firstly, it brings substantial capital infusion, fostering economic growth and development. Additionally, it facilitates the transfer of knowledge, expertise, and best practices in investment management, thereby enhancing the local financial ecosystem.

Moreover, Wall Street’s involvement can lead to the establishment of strategic partnerships and joint ventures between international investors and local businesses, promoting innovation, technology transfer, and job creation.

Furthermore, it enhances Guyana’s global visibility and credibility as an attractive investment destination, attracting further foreign investment and stimulating overall economic activity.

ACE Consulting Group and ACG Analytics are organising a series of high-level meetings with key stakeholders across various sectors in Guyana. Leveraging ACE’s extensive network and deep-rooted expertise, the partnership aims to facilitate meaningful dialogues addressing critical issues and exploring untapped opportunities for growth and development.
