UAQ Properties and Deyaar to Develop UAQ Beachfront

Umm Al Quwain (UAQ) Properties, owned by the Emirate of UAQ, and Dubai-based real estate firm Deyaar Development on Tuesday announced that they have signed an agreement to develop projects on Umm Al Quwain (UAQ) beachfront.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al-Mualla, Vice President of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Umm Al-Quwain, was among the dignitaries who witnessed the signing of partnership between the two companies at Al Diwan Al Amiri.

The agreement was signed by Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al-Mualla, Head of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities on behalf of UAQ, and by Saeed Mohammed Al Qatami, CEO of Deyaar Development.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Al-Mualla emphasised the commitment of UAQ Government to enhance partnerships aimed at providing modern infrastructure to build a prosperous economic future for the Emirate.

This collaboration represents a unique addition to the (UAQ) beachfront area, which is an attractive destination for investors in the Emirate, aligning with the vision and objectives of the UAQ government’s strategic plan.

It also reflects the Emirate’s commitment to promoting sustainable tourism through the development and enhancement of coastal areas, aiming to enrich the tourism experience with all its architectural and recreational elements, he said.

Laying New Foundations

Saeed Mohammed Al Qatami said that through their collaboration with UAQ government, Deyaar aims to lay new foundations for development of the projects in the Emirate by innovating in design and creating residential spaces that enhance the quality of life while striking an ideal balance between modern living and a connection to nature.

He added: “We are enthusiastic about this collaboration, which will enable us to leverage the abundant opportunities the region presents, thereby contributing to the establishment of an attractive investment environment and the realization of sustainable development initiatives.”

This collaboration also reflects the dedicated efforts and visionary leadership of UAQ government, focused on advancing the Emirate and implementing a sustainable blue economy strategy to achieve enduring development and provide modern infrastructure for fostering a prosperous economic future.

The other dignitaries who were present at the signing ceremony include Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud bin Rashid Al-Mualla, Head of the Department of Finance, Sheikh Hamid bin Saud bin Rashid Al-Mualla, Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of UAQ; Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser bin Ahmed Al-Mualla, Special Advisor to H H the Ruler of UAQ; and Saif Hamid Salem, Director of the Office of H H the Crown Prince of UAQ.

Mangrove Beach

One of the major project in UAQ beachfront area is the Mangrove beach, which is an abode of pristine waters overlooking Al Yafra Creek. It is the most prominent natural tourist attractions in UAQ, and offers visitors an exceptional experience in the heart of nature, in close proximity to pink flamingos, herons, and other flora and fauna.

The beach offers its visitors designated areas for barbecue, camping, and caravan parks, in addition to a beach restaurant and cafe.
